As a family-run care provider, founded by two sisters with a combined 50 years of experience in the health and education sectors, we bring passion, expertise, and an unwavering commitment to our work.

What sets us apart is our compassionate and dedicated team, led by a board of directors who have spent years supporting children and young people through the most challenging circumstances. Yvonne Chirimuuta | Director

Our director Dr. Yvonne Chirimuuta is a dentist with over 23 years experience within the health sector. She is registered with the Bermuda Health Council. Dr Chirimuuta obtained her qualification in Bachelors of Dental Surgery from the University of the Western Cape, South Africa. She holds an associateship with the International Dental Implant Association and International Association of Orthodontics with active membership. She is an esteemed member of the Organization for Safety, Asepsis and Prevention (OSAP) as well as a leading voice in the Christian Dental Society.

Her experience as a general dentist, including over 12 years of Public Health dentistry involves an approach that advocates for the importance of oral health as being the first part of a comprehensive medical conglomerate which regards the mouth as a gateway to systemic health, both physically and mentally.

Yvonne Holds Hospital Privileges with the Bermuda Hospital Board enabling her to treat patients under General Anesthesia at KEMH VII, especially children and special needs patients.

Her patients include children, seniors, special needs, and the general adult population. Dr.

Chirimuuta has a passion for educating people about the benefits of good oral health and worked with the community, schools, and various organizations. She has been nominated for the Bermuda Ministry of Health Chief Medicals Officer Award and awarded a Certificate, complimenting her BCHD, AIDIA, AIOA.

Dr Chirimuuta has a passion for mission dentistry, and she has volunteered after the tragic disaster in Haiti and locally provided dental care for the underprivileged on a grassroots level.

Rachael Chirimuuta | Managing Director

Rachael Chirimuuta, Director of Nations Care Services, brings over 25 years of experience in education and a lifelong passion for empowering young individuals. Starting her career as a humanities teacher in 1995, Rachael dedicated herself to fostering growth, inclusivity, and potential in both mainstream and specialist educational settings. Her expertise in behavioural support, individualised learning, and relationship building laid the foundation for her seamless transition into the care sector.

As Director of Nations Care Services, Rachael oversees care programs, staff training, and operational excellence, ensuring dignity, respect, and bespoke support for both staff and residents. Her leadership philosophy intertwines care and education, fostering a culture where compassion meets professionalism. This approach has led to improved care satisfaction, better staff retention, and impactful program initiatives.

Rachael’s academic achievements include a Master’s in Citizenship and a Bachelor of Education from the University of London. She holds certifications in Safeguarding, Asthma Awareness, and collaborates with the Prevent Programme to support at-risk youth. Her dedication to professional development ensures Nations Care Services stays at the forefront of best practices.

A champion for mental health awareness, disability rights, and inclusive education, Rachael remains committed to creating environments where every individual feels valued and empowered. Her blend of educational expertise and leadership continues to make Nations Care Services a place of excellence and opportunity for all.
